The Coggles history began in York where it was accredited its name. The story goes that creator Victoria Bage caught her husband having an affair with his secretary. After a swift divorce, she decided that he must be reminded of his mistake; naming her store after the secretary, ‘Sarah Coggles’. Born from a revengeful marriage breakdown whereby fury was channelled into a business opportunity, Coggles, 4 decades on, has reinvented the original store with an added modern twist in Alderley Edge, Cheshire. 

Winner of the Independent Retailer of the Year, Coggles continues its longstanding appreciation for luxury fashion, art, culture, homeware and more.
