The sixth annual Manchester Rum Festival is taking place this summer, and the much-loved event will showcase a wide range of brands from all over the globe, turning the city into tiki heaven!

This year, the festival will take place on 8th July, which is World Rum Day, and debut brands include Rhum JM, an historic rum from Martinique in the Caribbean with a super sustainable background focusing on biodiversity and the preservation of nature, and Takamaka, the first ever rum from the idyllic Seychelles in the Indian Ocean to join the line-up.
 
Manchester rum legend and festival founder, Dave Marsland, said: “Rum lovers can expect free samples galore, high energy DJ sets, amazing rum cocktails and Caribbean food from Nyammin’, which always gets the tastebuds tingling.”
 
Manchester’s first and only dedicated and official rum festival takes place on Saturday 8th July, 12-7pm, at the Mercure Manchester in Piccadilly Gardens.
