Set across the first and second floors of a characterful Victorian building, it benefits from a double-height, open plan living area; a games room; and a wonderful mezzanine where you can snuggle up with a book or observe the goings-on in the living area below!

Windermere is a popular Lake District village that has plenty to offer. There are a wealth of independent shops, pubs and restaurants to discover, not to mention the lake that shares a name with the village.

Lake Windermere is the longest lake in England and is just a short distance from the village. Here you can get onto the water either with a lovely relaxing cruise or by hiring a boat for yourself and your party. The views in this area are absolutely stunning and you can admire them from multiple points around the lake. There are also plenty of attractions to keep you busy with Victorian folly, Wray Castle; The World of Beatrix Potter; the Lakeside & Haverthwaite Steam Railway; the Lakes Aquarium; and the Lakeland Motor Museum all within easy reach.

If you're in the Lakes for walking, then you are spoiled for choice. Head in almost any direction out of the village and you can be exploring gentle lakeside routes or high mountain hikes in no time at all! Of particular note is the relatively easy ascent up Orrest Head, which is where Alfred Wainwright caught his first glimpse of the region that inspired his famous books!
