Dirt Detect Technology, a patented technology unique to Roomba robot vacuums, enables the Roomba i5+ to recognise particularly dirty areas of the floor, prompting the robot to clean more thoroughly in that spot when triggered.

Able to adapt to multiple floor types, the Roomba i5+ can get along walls and corners and tackle hard-to-reach dust and dirt. With a powerful, proprietary 3-stage Cleaning System and Dual Multi-Surface Rubber Brushes, the Roomba i5+ uses one brush to loosen and agitate dirt, while the other moves in the opposite direction to extract it. The debris is then locked away in the Clean Base’s enclosed AllergenLock™ bag that uses four layers of allergen blocking material to catch particles as small as .7 microns, trapping dirt, mould, and pollen for easy disposal without a dust cloud.
